Bird Week is a week-long event from November 5-12, to celebrate birds and birth anniversaries of Dr. Salim Ali and Shri Maruti Chitampalli.
On the occasion of Bird Week 2025, Srushtidnyan in collaboration with Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Botanical Udyan & Zoo, organised a Bird Quiz – “Test Your Bird Knowledge” for school students to encourage awareness and interest in avian diversity. The initiative received an enthusiastic response from all participating students.
We also organized Bird Storytelling Competition and a Bird Quiz. The event received an enthusiastic response from school students, who shared their personal experiences and stories about birds.
During the event, students had the opportunity to learn from Mrs. Sangeeta Kharat of Srushtidnyan and Mr. Makarand Sawant, a pioneer of wildlife theatre in India. Participants were gifted unique photographs of rare birds by Srushtidnyan as a token of appreciation.
This initiative not only sparked curiosity among students about nature but also inspired them to express their fascination for birds creatively through art and storytelling.
