Miyawaki Forest In Z.P.School Parshramwadi,Sangmeshwar
This was another unique and successful project implemented by Srushtidnyan. A small patch of land was brought under new forest generated by the school children by using Miyawaki Forests Regeneration method. The school children, teachers, parents in the village named Parshramwadi in Sangmeshwar Taluka of Ratnagiri district worked on composing new organic soil and planting around 300 saplings of 25 different forest tree species. The plantation was well taken care of by them with proper fencing, regular watering and mannuring for two years. The forests in these two years have reached at the height of 15 feet as well as thick density of trunk growth.
