Srushtidnyan is promoting organic methods, compost and fertilizers and indigenous local food-grain seeds to practice sustainable agriculture in Ratnagiri District of Konkan Region.
Srushtidnyan in engaged to working with the farmers, especially women farmers in Ratnagiri district. It focuses on promoting and reviving sustainable farming practices. It has established a plot of indigenous seeds propagation in Angavali Village in Sangmeshwar Taluka of Ratnagiri District. Those seeds are distributed among farmers on a free of cost basis. The organic methods of farming like use of compost fertilizer, local seeds, organic pesticides are re-emphasized through demonstrations workshops.
